Davina Barber has been riding a variety of different horses for years and at the age of 13 she backed the first of many horses! “I offer a calm, quiet and confident approach to all my training methods allowing the horse to gain confidence and trust with me. I also never rush a horse, like people every horse has their own learning rate. Some need a little more time to understand than others.”
Davina Barber has always had a her own horses to compete, generally producing them up through the levels from unbroken to lightly backed. She is currently competing at 1m20 with her main horse. As we as competing in some dressage, eventing and hunter trails with various other horses.
Davina Barber offers her services as a Freelance Rider & Coach, travelling around Norfolk and parts of Lincs, Cambs and Suffolk. “I love going around teaching people on their horses, love seeing different horse and rider combinations work towards and achieve their goals. It’s an amazing feeling when you do, so if I can offer help to get there, I will! I offer the same calm, quiet and confident approach to my teaching as I do when I’m riding. This allows the client to feel like they can ask any questions confidently because in my opinion no question is too stupid! I also love working through ‘problems’ whether that’s on the ground or when riding within the horse or rider themselves.”
